About the project
On December 15, 2023, Ghana's Sentuo Oil Refinery Phase I, with a capacity of 5 million tons per year, smoothly commenced operations, setting a benchmark for integrated refining projects in Africa and marking another milestone in Hoto's overseas business expansion.
Hoto played a pivotal role in various aspects of the project, including overall planning, engineering design and project management. This involvement not only optimized the project's process configuration but also addressed numerous technical challenges such as land constraints, enabling seamless integration across all eight process units and auxiliary production facilities within the entire plant.
