Zhangjiakou Green Hydrogen EPC Project

About the project

The project encompasses the production, compression, and filling of hydrogen, with construction including a hydrogen production plant, supporting oxygen liquefaction facilities, hydrogen filling stations, auxiliary units, and other ancillary facilities, all designed by Hoto.

The project broke ground for civil construction on June 15, 2021, and within just six and a half months, a modern factory was erected from scratch on level ground.

This project will significantly propel the development of the hydrogen energy industry in Zhangjiakou, providing robust energy security for the 2022 Winter Olympics. It stands as another landmark project for Hoto in the field of carbon emissions reduction.

Fuel 2022 Winter Olympics

On January 28, 2022, Hoto, acting as the design, equipment procurement, technical service, and commissioning EPC contractor, completed the construction and commenced production of green hydrogen at the Hebei Zhangjiakou Green Hydrogen Integrated Demonstration Base project. During the 2022 Winter Olympics, the project supplied 50% of the green hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the Zhangjiakou competition area.
